Through our Home Repairs program, Hope for Homes addresses the critical need for safe and accessible housing, particularly for older adults, veterans and those living in deteriorating conditions. We collaborate with a local construction company to provide necessary home modifications that support aging in place and enhance the quality of life. Our efforts extend to all homeowners in need, ensuring they can maintain their independence and continue to live in a safe, secure environment. Affordable housing provides a stabilizing impact, allowing other needs to be more adequately met. Our Repair Program is a vital component of this effort, designed to alleviate the financial burden of costly home repairs and improve living conditions without compromising home affordability. This program includes critical home repairs that address health, safety, and code violations. Such repairs may involve changes to materials or components, reconfiguration ofspace, modifications for accessibility, or upgrades to plumbing, mechanical, and electrical systems.
We also provide installations such as wheelchair ramps and other necessary preventative needs. To qualify for our Repair Programs, applicants must own their home (rentals are not eligible), meet our family selection criteria based on income levels and housing repair needs, and demonstrate a willingness to partner with us.
